Just Another Maine Snowstorm

Auntie Mame blessing the snowflakes

We’re camping!  There’s another fresh foot out there and it’s still gonna come down for hours.  Lugging wood, shoveling snow, praying that our cars keep running.

I have to admit, when I lived there and was doing all the winter sports, I loved this in it’s own way. One of the truly astounding weather phenomena of the planet, along with, say, the South Asian Monsoon, or summer tornadoes in Kansas. It’s the stuff of which legends are made! Get out the squeezebox and make cocoa!

Hard to believe there’s crocuses and daffodils under there ready to pop at the first chance!

    Great picture, BTW!
